That’s why I think MyFit640.com is perfect for this journal.
If not properly fed and nurtured, my muscles won’t be able to support me as I grow older. That includes making sure I am taking care of myself in a well-rounded way with eating, exercising and sleeping with a positive attitude. Additionally, I turned 60 last year and I have let myself go through half-hearted and sporadic walking, plus indulging in foods that don’t help me reach my full potential—physically or mentally.
So, here I am. Opening myself up to the world and going on a journey. I am not an expert in any of the areas I will be journaling about. Just following doctor’s orders and what I have learned works for me.
I just have some simple rules I am going to follow. Maintain a positive attitude and overcome negative thoughts even on those down days. Focus on eating healthy by staying as close to natural and unprocessed foods as possible. No “magic” fixes. Excercise at least 4-5 times a week. Basically, create a balanced, healthy and active lifestyle for me.
